Welcome to Kindergarten!

Religion: We made a Chalice and Eucharist and read about the Last Supper from the Gospel of Matthew.

Reading: We started our unit on predictions. We are trying to guess what we think will happen.

Please make sure you are going over your child’s sight words with them a few times a week. Our goal is that every child reaches 100!

Phonics: we are working on digraphs and review words in spelling. Please make sure you are studying spelling words. A new list comes home every Friday and can be found on my website if need be.

Writing: Journal - This is a…

Math: Began our unit on three-dimensional shapes.

Science: We began our unit on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Our next unit for Science is how humans can improve their environment. We will be upcycling/building something with recycled materials in two weeks. If you could save any boxes, paper towel tubes, etc. We are building on March 26.

Please send them in on that day.
