Please join us in celebrating these students who let their light shine in a special way throughout St. Anthony School. Be sure to check the Good News each week to see who we feature.
Joseph demonstrated the virtue of leadership by being a good role model and class helper for a new student. Joseph has made sure his new classmate is included and knows what is going on in the classroom. He has also helped adults when they had questions about the routine for walkers.
Molly exhibited the light of Jesus by lifting another student up in group when he was feeling down. She reminded him that, "Jesus is always walking beside you."
Virtue exhibited: helpfulness For the last few days I have seen Stevie pick up things in the lunchroom that were not his. He has picked up food that has been left by other students and helped the lunch staff clean. Thank you Stevie!
Virtue exhibited: kindness, diligence. “Nino helped me plug Chromebooks into the charging station at the end of the day last week when I covered 6th homeroom. He not only generously offered to help, but he made sure to leave the area better than he found it by helping me put the chromebooks away neatly. He helped identify the numbers and rotated them so I could easily plug them in. He wasn't quick to leave but stayed until the job was finished. It was such a smooth process.”
Virtue exhibited: Generosity. Scarlet donated some of her birthday money ($20) to the Hunger Bowl because she wanted to help people who don’t have food.
Virtue exhibited: Obedience. Taelyn has done a great job of following directions throughout the day and respectfully listening to her teachers and peers.
