Fernando works as St. Anthony's Director of Faith Formation and Middle School Theology Teacher. He earned his Master's of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame in 2023. In his studies, he focused on how the Christian tradition connects to contemporary issues and how teachers and ministers can teach and share this tradition.
Before graduate school, Fernando studied chemical engineering and worked as an Army engineer officer for four years.
Fernando and his wife Libby have been married for four years and live in South Bend with their dog, Kevin. His interests include ice cream, Brandon Sanderson novels, and San Antonio Spurs basketball.
