Noah noticed a classmate was sitting on a carpet square that would prevent him from seeing the story being read and quickly asked the student if he wanted to move next to him. Noah also offered his spot to the student and moved himself further back. It was beautiful to witness how he looked out for the other student.
Effective July 1, 2024, the Indiana General Assembly adopted Senate Enrolled Act No. 216 to amend and clarify requirements for pesticide use (both Restricted Use Pesticides and General Use Pesticides) at schools. During a short time in the library after school, a pre-school student was building a house with magnetic tiles. The house fell to the table and the student became upset. Recognizing a need, Elise quietly took the student aside and offered to read a book, which calmed the student. It was a wonderful display of mercy and grace.
