Students are prepared by developing a deep relationship with Jesus. Before receiving him in the Blessed Sacrament, we seek to make him their best friend.
Our first priority is to give students time to spend in quiet prayer with Jesus every day. It is during this precious time that we teach them how to pray and speak to Jesus as a friend.
We bring Jesus to life in the eyes of our students with bible stories and exciting activities that help them learn about his life and how he becomes the Eucharist. Children also learn the parts of the Mass in an age appropriate way so that they develop an understanding of what is happening during the liturgy and how it leads to receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus. They discover how the bible stories they hear in class appear again at Mass and teach us our salvation history.
Our goal is for students to fall in love with Jesus in their own simple and special way by learning of his deep love for them - all so that they are ready to receive him in the Holy Eucharist and recognize him as the greatest gift they will ever receive.
